KR Palace is a nice hotel located on Radbumrung Rd (aka, Soi Sin :) ). It's across the street from the Volk bar/restaurant (With the volkswagon mini buses out front). Rooms start at 490 baht per night. They have a little restaurant on site. They have wifi internet access, though you have to buy so many hours worth of access, afterwhich they give you a slip of paper with a log in name and password (I bought 10 hours for 150 baht today). The rooms have a good sized fridge, and cable TV. There are 5 floors and there's an elevator, plus 24 hour security and a spacious parking lot.

Sorry, had to remove the pics.

This is the second time I've stayed with them and I like it alot.

Phone number - 0 3880 0082 8

A correction to my original post: the bar across the street is called Volk II. I guess there's a Volk I somewhere?

Has anyone recently stayed at the Palace Hotel? If so, can you share with me your impressions of the hotel & its location.

I considered moving in there permanently about a year ago
the location is great, one of the reasons I chose not to move in, knew I'd be spending too much dosh in the surrounding area, LOL

rooms are nice, & they've got Star Movies on the telly, the rest were mostly Thai & I think one Japanese or Korean channel
