Is it anything like ban chang?

Worth a day trip with a bunch of mates?

Anyone got any pictures or just a description? even directions might be nice.

the locals call it Sai Lahng, meaning the Below Road
as in below Suk. Road

it's parallel to Suk. Rd & goes from the PMY intersection all they way over to the road which goes to the beach/port
I'm just guessing about 5km long

I can see the road & a few of the clubs from my bedroom window

There's some here that are popular in Pattaya or elsewhere too

Dtawun Daang for one, owned by the lead man for Caraboa is near the West entrance of Sai Lahng
The other name for Sai Lahng is Soi Roké, as in Karaoké
since it has long been littered with many lo-so Thai karaoke joints

There's also a Gum Pbun near the beginning of Sai Lahng from the West end, which is also a pub in Patts

There's three late night Coyote joints, but the dancers are not for hire
they are ringers brought down from BKK & Sriracha area who get paid pretty well, so they aren't interested in earning some extra cash for a roll in the hay

quite far from the other two & smaller, but cheaper prices for drinks

in the first two Coyote joints its' 150b/beer
the dancers or hostesses wont' even talk to you unless you buy them a Spy which I can't remember the price of

at "The Coyote" beers are 120b, same deal on LDs, no buyee, to talkee

if you come in the daytime you will miss most of the places because they just don't stand out w/o their lights on

the Minorah MP isn't bad, I think it's 1,700b now, & 700b for every extra pop

a good place to start is the East end where you have places like Volk & the Ronge Beer (Rayong Brewery)
when a local gal asks you to dinner, usually she'll ask you to feed her friends at Ronge Beer

don't expect much though guys
I spent almost 2,000b on beers at one of the beer gardens last Friday & managed to get ONe of the gals in bed on Sunday
it was almost a complete disappointment

she played shy & wanted ALL the lights, TV & computer monitor OFF
I figured out why when I passed my hand over her stomach & found Mt. Saint Helens in stretch marks there

she wouldn't even give me head & then was off to meet her friends at The Love Club so out comes the hand for cash
she begged for 200b more to which I said if she'd give me some head I'd gladly hand it over, but NO was the answer tonight

she's only 19 & yes I checked her ID, cause she looked so young
shame to have ruined her life & body by having a child already

that place is full on until about 4am
but I warn you, they expect payment up front & it's about 2k minimum just to get a burd out the door

I had the same experience at the Las Vegas Club. Lot of hot young ladies in there after Midnight, but they start in immediately asking for a drink. Made me think I was back in a BKK gogo.

I'm told you can get the dancers in Florida ST, haven't ever tried
but I have seen some real stunners going into the place at dusk
Florida is over behind Lotus & in front of Star Hotel, you wouldn't notice the place in the daytime really
East of Lotus & South one block from Star Hotel

there's also a Coyote Joint at the side of Star hotel, but I've never tried it
The last time I had a drink in there when it was a hostess bar it cost me 900b just to invite a gal to drink & have one beer for myself

Kind of like Violin, what a rip-off that place is , across the street from Society

I have experienced too many of these thai on thai places are they are a nightmare for getting laid and keeping expenses down on drinking.

I met a girl from love club on Koh Chang and she assured me that its easy for us to get laid in there. I think i will give it a miss for a while, unless we have a meet up there of course.

You just cant beat Pattaya!

yeah, the Love Club has obviously trained their dancers to pretend like we can get laid there
not saying it's impossible, but it's a lot more bullshit than in Patts or in B'Chang

I prefer the point & click type of shopping
I point, she comes, we talk, if we click I pay the bar fine & we go

I did my own little bar hop last night on Soi Ratbumrung. Started near the west end at a little karoake place. Sorry I didn't get the name. Large Leo was 150 baht. I sat outside as the music inside was so loud. I was the only customer at around 9:30. They had 4 girls working. Two were 6's, one was a solid 8, and there was one ladyboy who had me fooled until she spoke. I bought the 8 a drink but she kept wandering off to chat with the other girls. Stayed for about 30 minutes and left.

Next I stopped at a karoake across the street and down a little from the Love Club. It looks like a cinder block bunker, but there were several girls sitting out front so I gave it a try. A large Leo was 90 baht. One of the girls looked like my type so I had her come sit down and share my beer. I played a few songs and she had another friend sit down and drink a little. No problem. She was friendly, sat on my lap, let me get a little handsy. I asked about "take away" service and she said I would have to pay the bar 600 baht. I thought that was a little steep for a karoake. I got her phone number and told her I might call her sometime. Then she brought the bill . . . my 2 Leos and two buckets of ice came to 240 baht, but there were two other charges on there, bringing the grand total to about 550 baht. I'm still not sure, but I think they were trying to charge me for her company. I talked to her and the cashier and said I was only paying for the beer and ice, nothing else. After some haggling they took one of the charges off the bill, but it was still over 400 baht total. I gave the girl the money for my beer and ice, handed her the slip of paper with her phone number, and walked out. I would have tipped her for her time, but not after getting that bill.

Finally I went to the bar across from Sang Tong. By this time it was a little after 11PM. There were 7 cute girls in there, but none of them gave me a second look. I sat down and ordered a beer. The mammasan asked if I wanted a girl to join me, but I played like I didn't understand. I tried to engage the girls, inviting them to drink some of my beer, tried to joke a little with them, but they just sat there watching TV. I chatted with one of the girls and she let me know that she would go for 1500 baht. Not sure if that was for the bar or her, but either way it was too much - she was not the one I would have picked from the group. I found myself drinking my beer alone while these girls watched some Thai true crime show. I'd had enough - I check-binned and went home.

I really don't see any reason to visit these bars again. I'll keep exploring and let the board know what I find.

sounds like what happened to me at one of the dives on the West end, even though the BG drank from the same bottle as me they charged it separately

that's unfortunately how most of the real P4P karaokes around here are, you've gotta point & click or they won't even acknowledge you, I find it very boring & it puts me off like hell.

555, it's all pretty much the same. Have a suggestion though, try the bars beside Laam Tong on Suk. Rd.
They are still a pain in the ass, but if you charm them you can nail them

Rayong City sucks for P4P unless you are willing to throw some major dosh around like a Japanese businessman

Pretty big call to make Lots of circumstances may have been involved here.

I enjoy visiting Rayong. Something about the city I like a lot. Really sounds like Rayong is a nice place to live, but use Pattaya and Banchang for the services provided. Not a bad trade off
