Wizards is a friendly expat bar located next to the Florida nightclub, near Star Plaza and Hotel. Large Leo's are 80 baht. They have some good music, not too loud. Some of the service staff girls are attractive, and they are very friendly. Lots of interesting western signs adorn the premises. Next time I go, I'll snap some pics and post them here. A good, relaxed place to sit and drink. They have UBC with 2 screens. Last night, they had the football games on the large screen, and the Spanish Grand Prix on the small screen.

shit, I've passed by there 100 times in the last 4 months & the only place I've ever gone into is Florida
I'll have a closer look next time I'm there after dark

I am going to have to get my arse into gear this next trip and go visit some of these places outside of Pattaya.
An LTGF of mine lives out Sattahip way these days, so she will be my guide.

Wizards has become my favorite bar in Rayong. Along with the newly re-named Snug & Snack (formerly "Sit & Drink") it's one of the few bars where they don't charge you for a girl to sit with you. Reasonable prices. Good TV screens for sports, they even let me watch the replay of Monday night football on Tuesday nights. The girls who work there are fun. Not sure if any of them "go" but most of them seem to have regular boyfriends. Not an issue for me as it is my "drink-and-don't-play" bar.

Only complaint is sometimes the service is slow, but hey TIT, service is almost never up to Western standards. The girls are pretty hot so that sort of makes up for lazy service.

I highly recommend the place.

Wizards update: pretty much the same. Depending on the night there will be 3-6 cute girls working there. A nice place to play darts, watch sports, or sit out front and watch people at the night market. Still the best expat bar in Rayong, though that's not saying much.
