I have heard about this place and I enjoy fish and chips, I also use restaurants often.

I thought the place looked nice and clean. Prices were ok!

The place is new, so i expected a few problems. They have no menu yet, just one piece of paper, it was handed to us and we were told that the only food available was with asterisks next to them, there was 3 astericks.... i was disappointed, but I went for steak and kidney pie... they didn't have that either, even though they had an asterisk next to it, so I decided to go for cheese and onion pie. My Thai girlfriend couldnt find anything she wanted, she does normally like fish and chips, but the menu was too small.

I then asked why isnt chips available.... she said that they were available... but I said that there was no asterisk next to the chips... she said that there were chips available anyway.

The restaurant was like a boiler room, so we sat outside... doesnt seem to be aircon inside. I asked for a drink... they had no drinks, they wanted us to walk to the shop two doors down... i was starting to think someone was pulling my leg. Lots of people will be trying this new restaurant and they wont return.

We were given greasy sloppy chips that had been overcooked, my gf was trying to wipe her chips down with tissue, I just told her to give up. I quickly scoffed all my food, horrible soggy chips and pie, (the pie was completely fine) as i didnt want to be hungry later.

The farang owner was in the kitchen by now, but he never came over to ask if the food was ok. Some old guy turned up and started smoking infront of the fan, my pregnant gf wasn't happy so she went onto the phone will i ate.

I recommend trying this place in a month or so, but he wont survive too long, simply because people try it once and wont go back! I seriously hope that it does succeed, as I would like to use it more often.
