There's a nice new hotel in Rayong called the Madina Rayong Hotel. It has internet and a nice restaurant. It's located right on the Rayong River. Take Sukhumvit, make the right turn onto Taksin Road, make the left as soon as you cross over the bridge, and its on the left about 300 meters down Nam Rim Road. If you bargain down, you can get a room rate as low as 590 baht/night.

I'm posting this from my room at the Madina, so you know the internet works. ;) I've been here for 2 nights and I highly recommend it. Very nice, clean, new, comfy bed, and not too expensive (I think my room is 620 baht per night). One drawback is there's not much in the immediate area, but if you have transportation that's not a problem.

Thanks for the info. It looks to be a good hotel by the looks on their website.

Thats useful to know, that means I can go to rayong and see a girl in a hotel, and work!
