Hi everybody. Long time since I was here.
I did not find a place to post my question so I did it here.

Does any one know how to go to Chantaburi by train or bus from Sattahip or Pattaya.
I’m planning to go visit the gemstone market for a day or two.

Thankful for all tips.

Hej Mattias,

Jag vet inte var du bor, men alternativen tycks vara dessa:
Det finns en buss servis mellan Rayong och Chantaburi. Du kan ringa Chanthaburi Bus Terminal at Tel. 0 3932 2197.

Annars måste du anlita buss som går från Bangkok, både från Ekamai och Mochit. Varje timma från Mochit och 0730, 0830, 1430 och 1530 från Mochit. Information får du på 02 391 2504.

Här har du ett par linkar som ger mer information:

My apologies to otherss for responding in the OPs native language. Essentially what I have said is
that there is "supposedly" a bus service between Rayong and Chantaburi with info from the Chantaburi Bus Terminal.

The alternative is bus from Ekamai or Mochit which would probably involve joining in Bangkok,. or figuring out if and when the Bangkok bus stops in Rayong. A phone call to 02 391 2504 might help.

The Bangkok Rayong bus route passes through both Pattaya and Sattahip. These buses are very frequent. Maybe one per hour. All the 'bus stops' are on the Sukhumvit Road (Highway 3) going through this area.

Hi!
Thanks; Great to meet Swedish people here at Sattahip forum.
I have a vacation house in Sattahip about 3 km from Tesco Lotus; Sukumvit.

Now I need to take the bus or train to Rayong from Sattahip. I found out that bus from Bangkok but it feels not so good for me. Better maybe, go to Pattaya and take a bus to Rayong.

Thanks again.

Best regards Mattias
