Professional Gangster Finally Captured.
On Tuesday morning police from Sattahip station won the race to apprehend a known thief and dangerous criminal who has been on the run for the past two months. The 32-year-old Thai man had just celebrated his wedding the previous day and was in the process of driving his sainted mother to the bus station in Huay sub-district so she could return to her home province, when police swooped. The alleged thief, who is believed to be the leader of a group of professional criminals, was taken back to his home where police discovered a cache of stolen goods including one laptop computer, five watches, five credit cards, 200 lottery tickets, and a garden-variety mongrel with fleas. The man had been on the run since an incident back in September when police tried to apprehend him while he was driving a Honda Jazz with no number plates. He had managed to elude a police roadblock in Soi Sophon Cable in central Pattaya and, after abandoning the vehicle, escaped on foot through bushland. Inside the vehicle was a loaded pistol and his ID card, giving police a good clue as to who they should be looking for. After being apprehended by Sattahip police he confessed to all the charges brought against him and will face court in the coming days and probably his wife in a few years.

I'm sure the soi dog was one of his prized items from the stolen loot.
