A small correction. Hoff are located on upper side of Sukhoumwit Rd.and are defenetly not on the move. The restaurant you are refering to is Talmi who are going to move to Na Jomtien soi 8 on the 1st.March. Latest roumer about the italien restaurant are that he solwed some internal problems regarding ownership and are soon reopening.

the Italian restaurant that closed was a partnership and it will not open under the same ownership sadly, as also it was previously poorly patronised and will need to work hard to create a viable business plan

About 12 doors from the Local.

And not pricey IMHO, but reasonable for great food!
