I have been looking at the possibility of moving away from Highway 36 down to Ban Chang.
Having had a look around Ban Chang for a suitable house I was surprised at the prices. average price was around 3 mil
Have I just been looking in the wrong places ? knowing that the price of a beer on the strip is around 80 baht, more than in Pattaya's walking street, surely Ban Chang can't be that expensive ?
What I intend doing now is spending more time driving around looking for a free standing Thai house for sale with a reasonable size garden.
If anyone has any comments on this matter I would be interested in hearing them.
